all about Christmas

We had a warmy white Christmas. We start our family tradition by having Christmas dinner at our house. Mason was very excited this year for Santa since we start to read him stories about Santa from early December. When James said to him that if you were a good boy then Santa will bring you toy and candy but then Mason finished the sentence by saying "and chcolate." After opening presents, we headed down to Lethbridge to spend Christmas day and dinner with family. We truly enjoyed it; there were so much love from everyone. It is so wonderful to spend Christmas with family here! We love you so much!

Brother and sister

Look at them~ I just cannot adore them more then I do! I remember when Mason started to walk around and James and I thought we cannot wait to see that he's running with another sibling. Now I think it is 10000 better than I imagine it, it is the sweetest thing to see them sit together. Currently Mason still gives "too much" love when he is around Isabelle but I know that one day soon they'll have a blast playing together.

Halloween=candy buffet

One of my favorite holiday of the year is Halloween. It is so fun!!! All the decoration and spooky treats that are all around and ones I can get to make. Now that Mason is older, it is even more fun to go trick or treat with him. This year our family theme is "going to a moive" so I am the gal who is going to the movie with my baby girl as my popcorn and my boy as my drink and James is my ticket. There isn't a fun ward Halloween party in Taipei but we went to a couple of truck or treat as well as in the shopping mall in Lethbridge. Believe it or not, The first store that offered candy was a music instruments store and Mason refused to keep going trick or treat in the rest of the mall but staying in that store and play with pianos. He'll not believe this when I tell him later on that he actually gave up candy for playing with instruments. We especially love hanging out with our family in Lethbridge.

Daddy's little girl

Isabelle is growing so fast and I just start to have a chance to sit down and look at her. I feel that I have lost the first few months of her birth. We were so busy with moving and I was overwhelmed with 2 children. As I look at her these days, I simply cannot believe how blessed I am to have a little princess like Isabelle. We love you so much!

We're together again!

After 2 months of separation from James, we are finally reunited again. It had been hard times without James around but we are so blessed with family and friends' support and love. I know I have gained lots during this time.

Visiting my grandma

I was raised by my grandma and grandpa up to the age of 3. Unfortunately I don't have any actual memory of that period of time because I was too young. However, I have lots of pictures and stories to reflect on. Most importantly, I love them so dearly. How much I wish my grandpa can get to meet my children...but it was so great to have my grandma meeting them. I pray that she can stay healthy and pain-free.

Sleeping Isabelle ZZZ

Isabelle has not been a good sleeper since birth but she certainly loves it when I have her on BabyBjorn. She always sleep well and I have no complain about this.

Mason in the boxes

We have been busy packing for Canada and we feel bad not giving Mason enough attention. He has been so sweet and cute by coloring/drawing by himself by or in the boxes. I am glad to see that it hasn't got old for him because we still have tons of packing to do.

Loving books

Daddy reads his recent favorite book before going to bed

The books he picked for me to read many mornings now

My darling little boy truly enjoys the books, it is usually the first and last thing he requests in the morning and also in the evening. One of his recent favorite book is called "Royal Boil" and I was a bit tired to read it by the bedtime because I may have read it like 10 times this day so I asked James to read it to him and he still listened to it like it was the very first time. Most mornings, James is such a sweetheart, he'd get Mason out of his crib when he wakes up. The routine is that he'd come wake me up with a big smile and I'd request for morning hugs and kisses. Then the very next thing, he asks to read books so I'd say go to your room and get a book. For many mornings, he'd pick one book and have me read it for a few times. Just other day, he started to pick up over 10 at the time and requested me to read it. I was NOT awake yet but after seeing that pile of books that needed to be read and Mason's serious face about the request. I am fully awake with a content heart. He is just so lovable and I love you so much - Mason!

Early 2nd Birthday party for Mason

                                Cutting the cake

Swimming in a circle with Daddy

                    Enjoying the cake

With sweet Lizzy (I love the way she poses, like a little lady already)

                            Swimming away

We simply don't know when Isabelle decides to come out and meet anyone. She may surprise us any day now so we decided to celebrate Mason's birthday earlier at the water park with his friends. He had so much fun swimming and splashing the water. Even when we were outside of the waterpark, he still asked to swim more. We adore how much he crazy about the water and have no fear in it. He swims with excitement. He also jumps into the pool from the ledge though he would drink in some water it does not bother him a bit; the very next thing he would say is "again." Swimming with Mason in the cooling waves makes us wish that we also can't touch the bottom too! He swims along strong as ever, never-stopping and pretty much smiling and chatting the whole time through to Lizzy, Jayden and Little James Robinson. Also, Mason learned how to cut the cake. We all had a great time, Happy birthday Mason!
