get away...

It was not a perfect day but we had a perfect company to spend a relaxing day with. Comparing to living in Asia, residing in Calgary is like living in a park with all the open space around us and a wide sky where we don't even need to raise our heads to look at. I remember when I was 15; first arrived in Edmonton, I'd hear people saying that they need to get away during the weekend because it has been so hectic in the city. There was a huge question mark in my mind, 'what are they talking about?? People would come all the way from the other side of the world to this very city to 'get away.' Are there actually quieter places than this? Alberta has become the 2nd home in my heart, I can answer proudly, YES. The city is hectic and we do need to get away every now and then, so we went out to Kananaskis Country and simply chill by the Burier Lake. I love days like this, we were not trying to do or seek out anything, we merely enjoy each other's company.

it was windy, Isabelle wasn't mad or anything

my eternal family

This is by far one of the most important days of our lives as a family. It is so significant that I cannot near in describing the joy I hold so strongly within my heart after receiving the blessings and happiness I can have in this act of faith in Him. We are now "forever family," we are sealed for eternity! I am so happy to see most of my eternal family at the temple with us. I am truly blessed and grateful for the gospel being restored on earth and I have been led closely to Him and being enbraced with His endless love. Though I am the pioneer on
my side of family, I believe and pray that one day they all may "come onto" Christ and receive this amazing gift He has prepared for us.

My princess is ONE year old!

When I was pregnant with my second one, James and I both pray for a baby girl and we were blessed with one- a perfect little princess. Isabelle sure was not as spoiled as Mason for his first year. 2 weeks after her birth, Daddy had to be in Canada and for the next 2 months, I was so occupied with moving and millions of little things. I always feel guility not looking at her or speaking to her enough. Then we moved back to Calgary, Isabelle was not able to be spoiled by my parents or cousins like Mason did. During the past year, Mason always has a way to divert our attention away from her. Nevertheless, Isabelle ALWAYS gives me the sweetest looks and smiles whenever I lay my eyes on her; it was as saying to me that 'it is okay, Mommy, I know you love me' and I do I do I do so much! Though she may not have our 100% attention, she has the company of Mason and she simply adores him. She likes to follow and play with him everywhere even though  Mason gives her "too much" love  a lot of times. She laughs and giggles the most when she is around Mason and that simply comforts my heart. Now, Isabelle is ever active, talktive and more moble and even more anxious to catch up with her big brother. Thank you for being such a understanding girl, we love you SO MUCH!
